Information on the dance
Esther Mngola is putting on a dance to benefit the Wakedu
Community Development Centre, an orphanage in Kenya. The
orphanage's rent had risen significantly this year. As a
result, the children were forced to relocate to nearby
relatives. Wakedu's goal is to buy its own land and provide
a permanent home for the orphans. If this goal can be
reached the children will have a home and enough land to
cultivate crops and become self- sufficient. All profits
from this dance and donations will be put toward making
this goal become a reality. Your support is appreciated.
